This Week . . .

Yep, I realize it has been a good two years since I blogged here.  I've just been uploading my pictures to Facebook.  Anyway, my friend Dana started a new feature, so I thought I'd join.  At least there will be some sort of online journal of my life.  And maybe they won't all be pictureless.  So here are some snippets of what I did this week.

• Made a flower girl dress and put sleeves on my friend's wedding dress.  (Whew!!)
• Sent two girls to church camp and one boy on a Scout low adventure (as opposed to a high adventure).
• Started my very first law school application!  (Operative word = started; more work to be done)  I may have gotten a wee bit emotional as I was filling out my demographic information.  I've wanted to do this since I was like 13 years old.  
• Ordered a cake for the Hartford Temple groundbreaking ceremony this Saturday (and my first time ordering a cake; I always make them.)
• Signed Brandon up for his 8-hour driver's safety course required by the State of Connecticut for teen drivers -- the last hurdle before the actual driving test!!

That's not it, but those are the highlights.  Next week will probably be more exciting, since I will be spending it in Utah with most of my family!  Thanks, Dana, for getting me to chronicle . . . something.
