Random Items of Possible Interest

I have been a terrible blogger lately. I don't have any pics that I want to post right now, but I thought I would give a brief (we'll see) update on what activities the kids are up to.
Morgan: 1st chair flute; major part in her play (2nd most lines, she says); at flute competition she got Best Solo and Best Small Ensemble (district-wide); Youth Conference Pioneer Trek in a month; becomes a Mia Maid next month (youth dances, oi!); straight A's; National Junior Honor Society; Leadership Committee at her school; Beehive secretary; blossoming pianist. Don't know what else to say about that girl. She's busy and dedicated. Oh, yeah, she just got voted Most Likely to Succeed (you know, for the yearbook).

Brandon: 1st chair bassoon; 1st counselor in Deacon's quorum; Troop Patrol Leader for scouts; straight A's; also blossoming pianist; great artist; learning to play tennis.

Makenzie: chess club; school choir; straight A's; piano lessons; activity days; great big sister.

Finn: straight A's; losing teeth; looking forward to cub scouts and baseball; piano lessons.

Cade: piano lessons; preschool group; learning to read, add, subtract, tell time, et cetera; loves to jump on the trampoline with Finn and Kellen.

Kellen: preschool group; learning letter sounds; excited to go camping; very sweet to Liam; not interested in potty training; smiles a lot; loves to watch movies.

Liam: walking ball of destruction; learning new words all the time, filling in the gaps with nonsense; climber (kitchen table, bar stools, trampoline, toy kitchen, bunk bed ladder); loves his bear; thinks he's as big as the other kids; sweet smile; lots of hugs.

Okay. So not that short, but with 7 kids what do you expect?

That's why I don't have a blog. No pictures. I guess I will eventually buy a camera and learn how to put the pictures on the computer.
Wow. What a bunch of great grandkids. I can' wait to see them again. All of the big ones taking piano lessons. How do you manage that?
